RSC Petard is a 24 metre coded workboat, category 1 with MCA C.O.P for 12 + crew, there is a wide range of equipment onboard, two powerful diesel engines, two large generators, 600kg hydraulic crane, fly bridge, excellent accommodation, spacious wheelhouse, large dry hold, a full range of electronics / navigation / radio equipment, full GMDSS compliance, fire fighting equipment including AFFF foam inductor, three diesel tanks, giving 2000 nm range, excellent sea keeping qualities and the capability to remain at sea for long periods, which makes Petard suitable for a wide range of tasks including safety/supply work, guard/patrol duties, survey, crew boat and general work boat etc.
Petard is fully crewed and available for charter all year round.

Petard was built for the M.O.D in 1978 by James and Stone as a category one, 24 metre Range Safety Craft and was designed to carry out range clearance, surveillance and safety duties in coastal waters and on the open sea, carrying general cargo/stores and passengers with a maximum speed of 24 knots.
