Hey Ian are you receivin my PM
- Quote
you would not think she was up the slip in june for a paint.
Do you not think she would look better a bonnie shade of green to go with that white stripe Bryan
aye your good Ian the one and only time she was green we just about went out the door with her gardner went boom all the other things that went wrong NO NEVER GREEN.
I canna mind her being green Bryan, I must be getting old, I have a picture of her when she was in StAndrews and varnished ill see if I can find it and stick it on.
when she was in st andrews she was a very bonnie lass all varnished up and immaculate, but she wasnt worked hardly at all .
aye mack rill she realy looked well when she was varnished but as she is worked very hard now the hull was getting black thats how we had to paint her we do not have the time to spend on her like the old ring net men.
well just heard she cost 28 grand when new from millars you could have bought a couple of good bungalows back then for that she wasnt a cheap boat no doubt bob wilson will have some pics when she was in her glory will try to get one.
spoke to bob wilson today she wasnt built at millars she was built by garry mitchell of cygnus fame in megavissy cornwall
