Scheurrak seen here a Ijmuiden (Holland) on 22nd October 2007.She is a Research Vessel.

She is owned by the Dutch Government - Dutch Directorate-General of Public Works and Water management (Rijkswaterstaat.

Built in 2005 by Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld in Holland she has a length of 26.55m overall, a beam of 10.20m and is designed for a trial speed of 22 knots. Propulsion is by twin MTU main engines and Hamilton waterjets with a total output of 1,576kW.

2 oil engines driving 1 generator of 57kW with clutches, flexible couplings & single reduction geared to screw shafts driving 2 Water jets at 900 rpm
