Hello Sailor

Hello Sailor

Sailor T121 & R105.  The Hernia Inducing 'Big Set'.  Picked it up a while back, after a bit tinkering off and on over the last month or 2, got the thing grafting like a good un.  Valves are like hens teeth to find these days, few other iffy bits needed re soldering/replacing.

Anyone got a manual by any chance.  Pretty sure the output stage is now working ok, but a bit scared to key the mike till I'm sure it's set up and I've got a tuned antenna bolted in and earthed to lampost outside!

Odd handset though, not got the original plug on, its got a 9pin din plug (RS232 computery thing), so need a proper handset too, unless anyone knows the crack with this one

Not that its heavy, but its destined to go on Pansy, mounted on the starboard side to cure the wee list she's got!

Bet Beamish would love it Mark  8)

Supposedly 400 watts of SSB punch, although many folk said that the old style 100 watt  Sailor was a far better set.It was on a par with the old Coastal Radio Nimbus 75 & 100. We had a 400 at one point and I wouldnae say I thought it was that good....all right, but no what Sailor cracked it up to be.
