me and ernesto making a very big lobster look small
i never got any education on sex either yr i had 2 find oot 4 myself fun learning still learn new things yet
There's only so much a book can teach ye,as in any other job,you've got to get "hands on" experience first.
ricki it was 8 1/2 pound. biggest i seen here was 15lb and the biggest i caught was 9 1/2lb. (this was second biggest) unfortunately the massive `bulk`of me makes it look smaller than it is lol!

ronnie, i also heard that m/f labsters have their claws the different way round and i`ve fished them all my life-and never checked yet. as it was the oul lad that told me he was probably taking the p!ss anyway lol!
If the females have wider tails Frank,I take it that this one was a male ??
this one was female ronnie-it`s just the way it`s cradled in my arms you can`t spot the width of it`s tail. also when lobsters get really big like this the males loose proportion-the back and claws get really big but the tail doesn`t seem to grow to match it-big females usually always stay in perfect proportion.
well sum do lol
aye right enough-some get very big on the bottom-things go pear shaped on them
