would that be the ex saphire stone from buckie?
Aye thats the boat BCK304 often works in the Clyde Tommy
she'll be a good age now
when did she change her name, she was still sapphire stone last time she was in CN or least last time i saw her in CN which was during the summer, gie rough looking too, that whaleback looked as if it was wooden, least what i could see of it from where i was standing anyway. she looked as if she could do with a good burning, i mean back to the wood and painted afresh, looked like she'd not had a decent bit of time spent on a good paint job in a lot of years, but then we used to take her back to the wood every third year, for all the time it took three good dry days and a good belt sander, i've still got a burner and a scraper we used more than 20yrs ago. besides nothing smells better than burning paint.
