is there not a web site for pictures of cargo boats?
    Hi David

Yes, this one - this site caters for all forms of water borne craft - check out the Gallery, you'll be surprised at what you find there  :woodenspoon:

There is a function in the gallery control panel if you look, which lets you opt for which pictures you see in the recently uploaded section, please feel free to use it, it's there to keep everyone happy
    "Customise Recent Pictures & Comments"
THERES NOWT WRONG WITH STEVE Es PHOTOS, MERCHANT NAVY OR FISHING VESSELS, THIS SITE CATERS FOR ALL.................. ;D :woodenspoon:
    Hi Paul

Thanks for the support  :woodenspoon: - as Barry say's, if members only want to see fishing boats then they just need to specify that in their settings. Just a shame that those who 'moan' seem to be the one's who contribute nowt to the site!

Where in my post does it suggest that I am moaning???  I was just pointing out that the site is called trawler pictures but there seems to be all manner of vessels on here.

You dont go onto a football site and expect to see articles and pictures about rugby or golf just because like football, they all use "balls" and are played on grass.

Im not having a go, just my way of looking at things.

And as for not contributing to the site.  I am sorry that I dont have the spare time to go out and take photo's like some, if I could I would as I am probably better situated than most to get good shots!
I remember when this site was formed it was all about not taking comments too seriously. Didn't read that looking and being a member was all about posting either - difficult to picture boats when unfortunate enough to be land locked - hence the need to look.

If offence taken - take a pill - just a comment, no need to belittle by posting comments about users lack of contribution!

i am all in favour of various craft being posted  but is it necessary to post six pictures of a cargo  vessel which will  be viewed on average 4-5 times for each photo, in my opinion all the trawling photos get swallowed up amongst them, also there is plenty people browsing without posting , i would like to see a maximum of 3 photos for one boat
i think steves photos are great, i like the multi angle apraoch he takes and can spot didderent things from different pics, as for the name of the site well its just a name, here you can post a picture of anything(within reason) i think some people need to stop the moaning and have a laugh as this is what this site is here for, anyone can get involved,

keep taking those pics steve, maybe you can come down here and take a few of my boat :woodenspoon:
