Were a few of these aft cabin 40 footers built in St.Minnans around the late 50s early 60s bonny wee boats too.St.Ninian,Dauntless(this one, remember her well in St'Abbs),Silver Crest,Fruitful off the top of my head.Any more, fill in the blanks yerselves :woodenspoon:
silver crest still going, now called boy andrew fi eyemouth.all 3 apart from the dauntless were owned at one time or another by port seton skippers
silver crest and the fruitfull had 4 cylinder gardners 76hp in them.think fruitfull went to shields after she left port seton
the tarbert reg sunbeam looks like another one ronnie

Right enough Liberty, she was built as the Numora,fo'c'scle in her instead of the caibin eft,but probably similar hull style.Think the Fruitful was in the Broch(?Tommy? West was it ??)after John Deas had her.She was scrapped years ago, cannae mind was it Seaham she was in? Still had the 76 in her I think.Bonny wee boats in their day.Dauntless had a 6LX in her,the St.Ninian was 120 Kelvin.
I think your all correct there were about 8-9 of these 40 footers, foc'sle & cabin layouts, all very similar other than that.
Most were layed out as seine netters/trawlers, the Numora was rigged for ring & seine.
I have the origonal drawings for both layouts and I'm in the process of building a half model of the Numora (Sunbeam TT).
Is this the same Diamond that was dropped from a crane (IOW?)a lot of years ago and was fixed at Toms?
